If you have a lawn, then you will have weeds from time to time. You can go to your favorite home improvement store and purchase weed killer, but this weed killer will contain harsh chemicals that you may not want to use on your lawn if you have pets or small children. Luckily, there are some items you probably have in your home that will do just as good of a job killing the weeds as the chemical weed killer.
Set a pot of water on the stove and bring it to a boil. Pour the boiling water over the weeds to instantly kill them. This is the cheapest weed killer, and it really does work.
Pour your vinegar in a bowl and add the salt.
Stir in the dish soap until all three ingredients are combined.
Pour this mixture of homemade weed killer in an empty spray bottle.
Spray the leaves of any weeds you see. The weeds will then die within 48 hours.
